Lifeline

We provide free and confidential support to people in crisis

Lifeline is a nationwide charity which provides free and confidential support to people in crisis. Our services include a 24/7 helpline (0800 LIFELINE - 543 354), suicide crisis helpline (0508 TAUTOKO), face to face counselling, suicide prevention training, and Kidsline - a dedicated helpline for children (0800 54 37 54). Most of our services are provided by trained volunteers who generously donate their time, however Lifeline still needs to cover the costs of recruitment, training and supervision.

With no Government funding we are reliant on donations to provide these services.

"You helped my son when he needed it”

"Without the calls I made to lifeline this time last year, I would never be where I am today. I cannot believe how far I have come and a huge part of what I overcame was enabled by all of you... you guys were there for me when it counted the most so thank-you from the bottom of my heart."
